Payment rail picker

This tool lists payment rail listings that match every answer you set. It checks tags, status, open source, and the summary already on each listing. The order is alphabetical. Sponsor records and adoption figures are not inputs. Buyer region is not a listing field.

How this works

The order is the match count, then alphabetical listing name. The checks below are the whole rule set.

  1. Candidates are listings in the payment rails category. Listings in other categories are left out.
  2. Each answered question adds one match or zero. No preference and Any status add zero. One listing can gain at most one match from one question.
  3. Merchant checkout matches the checkout tag, or a summary that contains the word merchant or the word checkout.
  4. Agent to agent matches a summary that contains A2A.
  5. An API matches the tag http-402, pay-per-call, or metering.
  6. Cards, stablecoins, and Lightning match the tags cards, stablecoins, and lightning.
  7. Spend limit matches the tag spend-limits.
  8. An approval step matches a summary that contains an approval word or 2FA.
  9. Spend limit or approval matches when either of those two checks match. The question still adds one match.
  10. Per request matches the tag pay-per-call or metering, or a summary that contains per call, per API call, per payment, or per request. The tag http-402 alone does not match this question. Listings do not state a payment size, so this check is not a price filter.
  11. Open source only matches an open_source value of true.
  12. Live only matches a status of live.
  13. A listing appears only when it matches every answered question. A listing that misses an answer is left off.
  14. The order is alphabetical by listing name. With no answers set, every payment rail listing is shown in that same order.
  15. The reason line repeats that listing's summary, then names the tag, field, or summary word that matched. It adds no other claim.
  16. Adoption rows are copied from that listing's adoption block and add no matches. A row with no figure reads None published. If both sides have no figure, the block reads None published.
  17. Sponsor records and sponsor payment links are not read.
  18. Buyer region and compliance programs are not fields on these listings, so they are not questions.

Questions

How does the payment rail picker order listings?
A listing is shown only when it matches every answered question, using a tag, a status, the open source field, or a summary word. The order is alphabetical by name. No preference and Any status add no constraint.
Do sponsor slots change the picker order?
No. The picker does not read sponsor records or sponsor payment links. Category pages stay alphabetical.
What adoption figure does the picker show?
It copies the claimed and measured figures already stored for that listing, including the metric, the value, who published it, and the checked date. A side with no figure reads None published. Figures add no matches.
Why is buyer region not a question?
Buyer region and compliance programs are not fields on the payment rail listings. The picker does not invent a match for them.
Does per request mean a small payment?
No. These listings do not state a payment size. The question matches a per request tag, a metering tag, or those phrases in the summary.
How do I share a result?
Each answer is written into the page URL. Copy that address to open the same answers and the same order.
